The celebration was for my dad because my dad scored against Everton and he ran around the corner flag. It was a semi-final but it was an important goal in his career and he talked to us about it growing up. So it was just a little thing for my dad.

For me the Champions League is a beautiful sensation because when I played I won it 2 times in 1989 and 1990. It was fantastic moment. The same thing as when I was a coach in Milan in 2003 and 2007. The Champions League for me is the best competition in the world and all want to win. Chelsea has a great record, 5 semi-finals in 6 years is a beautiful score so great, but now we need to win, and I hope this will happen.

The discipline between us was already good, you don’t win six trophies in five years if you don’t have discipline and you don’t have friendship together but the manager [Guus Hiddink] gave us this extra bit. We know his quality, we know how good he is. I think this cup is his.
